Helen Farmer

A BBC-trained broadcast journalist and mum of two young daughters, Helen Farmer juggles a career in broadcasting and blogging with cleaning cereal off the ceiling. She has worked in publishing and radio in Dubai for more than a decade, and is an award-winning journalist, known for her honest (perhaps too honest…) take on living, working and parenting, through her blog The Mothership.

Saniya Chughtai…Pakistani Irish

CEO and Founder of The Wadi Tribe, Philanthropist, Serial Entrepreneur, Business Consultant, Children’s Author, Interior Architect and International Designer.

Saniya was born in Karachi, Pakistan and has lived in Ireland since the 1990’s. She wrote her first children’s book 9 years ago under the series, ‘The Adventures of Chee and Dae.” Ever since then the Seanachaí in her was awakened forever and she has since written 9 books, 6 of them have been published so far and one is at illustration stage. 

Besides being an author, Saniya has appeared on Television design shows such as “Showhouse” on Ireland’s national television network RTÉ, for several seasons. She won the People’s choice award in INDEX exhibition, Dubai for the contemporary Majlis design. She has also written 5 successful children’s books under the series “The Adventures of Chee & Dae.” The first book has been translated into Arabic & Urdu. She has also ventured into film, making a short documentary titled “The Story of the Storyteller”. This won the best short documentary at the GUTech short film category at the inaugural Muscat International Film Festival in 2016 in The Sultanate of Oman. She took TWT to the Finals in Richard Branson’s VOOM 2016
