What does a virtual author visit include?

A virtual author visit with Saniya includes a live storytelling session bringing the characters and worlds of WadiLand to life, an interactive Q&A where children can ask Saniya anything about the books and her journey as an author, and a discussion of themes including friendship, courage, self-acceptance and emotional resilience. Each session runs for approximately 40-45 minutes and is delivered via Google Meet. Sessions are tailored to your age group and can accommodate a single class or the whole school.

Each session runs for approximately 40-45 minutes, making it perfect for a single class period. You can book one session or two back-to-back sessions for a half-day visit. Both options are available for $150 USD (approximately 550 AED).

How much does it cost?

Virtual author visits are $150 USD (approximately 550 AED) per booking. This covers one or two sessions of 40-45 minutes each. Payment is collected securely at the time of booking via Stripe — no invoices, no chasing, just a simple and secure online payment.

How do I book an in-person visit?

For in-person author visits in the UAE or internationally, please book a free 30-minute Discovery Call using the button above. During the call we will discuss your requirements, preferred dates, location and any travel arrangements needed. International visits require flights and accommodation to be covered by the school or organisation. Once details are agreed, a custom invoice will be sent to confirm the booking.

What age groups are the sessions suitable for?

Saniya’s author visit sessions are suitable for children aged 2 to 14. Sessions are tailored to the age group being visited:

Ages 2–6: Interactive sing-along and picture book storytelling featuring Tach the Hurler and Little Fish
Ages 6–9: Adventure storytelling featuring The Adventures of Chee and Dae series with themes of friendship, courage and emotional resilience
Ages 9–14: Deeper discussion sessions featuring Tach and the Cosanthor and Marni Khan and the Ancient Silk Route, exploring identity, culture and self-discovery

What do I need to prepare before the visit?

Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a full teacher preparation pack within 48 hours. This includes everything you need to prepare your class for the visit — background on the books and characters, discussion questions, suggested activities, and a parent information sheet you can send home in advance.

For schools wishing to purchase books, we recommend distributing an order form to children one to two weeks before the visit so books can be signed and dedicated personally by Saniya on the day. A ready-to-use order form is included in your teacher preparation pack.
