This is a wonderful book about a little turtle who discovers who he really is, with a big twist!
Great story for your little ones.

  3. Gerry O’Leary

Tach and the Cosanthor is a beautifully illustrated children’s book. It’s a storybook about three green ‘giddy-kiddy’ turtles surviving the trials and tribulations of living, playing and surviving in the forest, and their fear of other dangerous animals!

Tach (the main turtle character) along with his besties, Kaw and Turwa have many colorful friends from their animal world who support them in their endeavor to defeat the wolves. So, the story grippingly unfolds with an almighty battle using ‘hurley sticks’ (of ancient and legendary Irish GAA sporting life) to defeat their scary enemies!

The author had a great grasp of descriptive ‘kiddy’ language. The story is funny, exciting and thoroughly engaging, and the colorful illustrations add life and energy to the story.

A wonderful story so appropriate for young children today! I got them for our grandchildren in Dublin and Toronto and they love them!! Saniya has a great way of telling the story through Tach and Tach has a great way of living the story!! Highly recommended!!!

  7. Niall Dempsey

Absolutely loved this story purchased as a Christmas present for a hurling mad, nephew. Have to admit that I had a good read prior to wrapping it up. The setting, premise, fun and colorful characterizations made it compelling reading. Who knew that our ancient sport could travel so well!? The nephew loved the vivid descriptions, sense of mischief and the storytelling augmented by gorgeous illustrations. Thank you to the author who transferred the magic of hurling into the realm of fantasy in an easy to read style. We agreed in so many words that the adventures of Cosanthor and friends will be cherished by young kids and big kids too!!! Will we see Cosanthor on the big screen one day? We certainly hope so…
