More great news from The Wadi Tribe – Award winning Bookwire of Germany have partnered with TWT to promote their wonderful stories to a global audience in digital format.
Bookwire, who lead the digital publishing market globally selected TWT based on its strong catalog of stories, its value-based style of storytelling for children and as a model showcase from the MENA region. In times of increasing digitisation, this is a very positive move for TWT and increases the audience reach of their universal stories for children. TWT has built up a very strong stock of media and eBooks, including the Chee and Dae series of books and the new Tach the Hurler series, plus a full suite of lessons for the ‘Back to School Students Emotional Wellbeing’ program. The books are imbued with the tenets of Social, Emotional Learning [SEL] delivered in a fun way through the age old medium of good storytelling.
Irish-Pakistani Author Saniya Chughtai, began writing her books whilst working in the gentle climes of the Sultanate of Oman almost a decade ago. Her first book ‘The Adventures of Chee and Dae in Majlis Jinn’ was released in both english and Arabic. More recently, her latest book about a hurling -playing turtle, ‘Tach and the Cosanthor’, was launched in 2019 by the Irish Ambassador to UAE, Aidan Cronin, in the presence of the Irish Hurling All-Stars. This partnership is the latest milestone in the growth of TWT beyond the Middle East and sees the rising popularity of the books particularly in the United States, where Saniya recently won a readers award.
